Hi wildmac,

1) Check that there are drivers for the devices available from the
manufacturer that are WinXP compatible. If there are, download them and copy
to CD or other removable media.

2) Disconnect those devices from the system.

3) Perform the upgrade.

4) If there are drivers available, reconnect the devices and install them
according to the hardware maker's instructions. If not, do not bother
reconnecting them as they are unlikely to work properly and will wind up
causing conflicts on your system.
