Default Re: Will cloned HDD avoid activation?

The last two versions of Ghost are based on the last Powerquest DriveImage
version 7.0 software. This requires installation to XP for imaging. It
works within the XP environment for easing users afraid of non-XP
environments. Restoration is done from its boot/installation CD.

The Ghost 2003 version was the last version prior to the Ghost versions
based on DriveImage.
DriveImage 2002, version 6.0 works like 2003 in that nothing is installed to
the operating system. Some use it for XP imaging. This version is okay for
the standard PC, but not external drive image locations or imaging directly
to DVD.
