The ISP will have his email information.
For ISP webmail, username and password will be the same as his username and
password for access to ISP.

Using dialup or DSL connection?

You can use Outlook, Outlook express, etc to read his ISP mail account.
These all use his ISP email information.

Can also create email accounts independent of ISP mail account ie Gmail,
Hotmail, etc. These accounts will require him to create a new username and
password for the account. These accounts do not normally read his ISP mail
account but some can be setup that way.
