If you have a new MS XP2 CD that of course comes w/SP2, your pc will
work very well with a fresh install. In fact, my main beta tester, ie my
son who can screw up anything, has not screwed up a fresh install of XP2
yet

Like any previous MS-OS, their second release is usually quite nice.
