Default Re: Defragmenter no longer works

Back to Wesley this time:

In response to defrag/? I get usage info, not an error message, e.g.,
volume, analyze only, force...., verbose output, etc.

In response to dfrg.msc, Defragmenter does open, as always, but when I click
on Analyze or Defragment, I get the usual response: "Disk Defragmenter could
not start."

What does this tell you?
