Hi
I can't understand with a repair install you said "nothing happened"
I know some OEM XP disks do not allow repair installs
Look here
http://michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm
Read through it first
You can download cryptui.dll here
http://www.dlldump.com/download-dll-.../download.html
Also this may help when you tried to run 'sfc /scannow' remember the space
between c /

Best of luck
