My Anti-virus software is NOT out of date, I'm very religious about keeping
it updated (paranoid would be more like it) also msvcr80 went missing BEFORE
I un-installed .NET framework. I un-installed the program to see if a
re-install would fix the problem after which it wouldn't re-install. Thanks
for the links,I'll follow them and see if I can find a solution somewhere.
