Default Re: Is there a Wireless WPA Security patch for Windows XP Pro???

Dear Tom;

Thank you very much, just what I was looking for. Could you help me
with another problem?

I have a wireless router hookup in the home, but did not have wireless
security enabled. Our home network is say "homenetwork". Well, last
night I went to Explorer:

MY NETWORK PLACES
ENTIRE NETWORK
MICROSOFT WINDOWS NETWORK

and much to my surprise in addition to HOMENETWORK someone had
installed another network there, and I'm assuming they did this via
the Router or the Wireless Access Point I have connected to the home
network via ethernet cable.

Anyway, I tried to delete the rogue network and it told me ACCESS
DENIED.

I then disabled the wireless card on my laptop, and the rogue network
disappeared, so I assume someone used one of the wireless access
points to set up this network somehow.

Anyway, I'm going to set up wireless security now, but was wondering
if it should happen again, under XP Pro, how would one delete or
disable or track down the rogue network?

We are in the aftermath of Katrina and I suspect some knowledgeable
person found my router or WAP and jumped right in.

Thanks,

Jim
