Windows XP Home Edition SP1
I'm finally going to update to SP2. I understand it has a built in
firewall. I use Zone Alarm Free edition now. I think the SP2 firewall and
Zone Alarm conflict. I'm inclined to disable the SP2 firewall after
installation and use Zone Alarm (It works well and I'm used to it) If they
conflict, how do I handle this on installation of SP2? Do I have to disable
ZA before updating, after updating, or do I select some option on
installation of SP2 to not install the firewall in SP2?
I'm concerned that I will update to SP2 and the computer and/or either
firewall won't function and the whole house of cards will come crashing.
How do I handle this pro-actively?
