I can start it in the Safe Mode just fine....so I guess that rules out
the power supply.

The only thing that changed recently was I was trying to get a cell
phone to connect to my pc via a cable...and people recommended updating
drivers for modems or something to get it to work. That was the only
recent tinkering that was done.

What else do you need to know about my machine to help? Its running
Win XP and I am on cable internet. Thanks.
