Default Re: Windows Installer

Rick,
Had I known this this morning I might have save a friend of mine $25. She
had all sorts of probs. w/Norton Inet. Sec.
After weeks of troublehooting we uninstalled it. Using their removal prog.
(since add/remove just hung).
Anyway that solved her Outlook Express prob. Then I get a call the next day
Quicken wasn't working.
The shortcut did nothing, the prog. wasn't on the program list.
I tried add/remove since it was listed there. No good. Intuit's CD failed in
all options.
I went into a chat session w/1 of their reps. We tried a few things that
didn't work.
Today we called. After a few mins. we were pointed to this Utility. That
took care of the prob. nicely.
Only thing was since it wasn't a direct prob. w/Quicken she was charged $25
(she accepted).
But now I learned something else.
