As soon as I put a blank CD-RW into my CDRW/DVD combo in my 1 year old Dell
compact computer, it makes this noise every second. "bumf churp, bumf churp,
bumf churp". I think this is the first time I tried to burn a CD on this
computer. I can look at data CD,s and play music. I just can't burn a CD.
I've tried both the Sonic burning software that came with my computer and
drag and drop thru DLA. I tried to format a disk, but 30 minutes into it, it
sais format failed.

Any suggestions
