Another interesting thing ... when I enabled 'guest' logon using <net user
guest /active:yes>, the system appeared to accept the command (no error
message), but guest does not appear as a logon choice. Prior, I had used the
cmd line stuff to ensure guest had a null password. Tried rebooting, etc.,
to no avail. If I could get a restore opsys disk, I would install W98SE,
but am concerned about drivers for some of the new machine's hdwr.
I will retry the form again.
