Should work just fine.

Just to clarify:

- Connect the Satellite Modem to the WAN port of the router.
- Connect the 8 port switch to one of the 4 lan ports on the router.
- Connect up to 3 other PCs or network printers to the other LAN ports
of the router.
- Connect the balance of the PCs and printers to the switch.

Are you using manually configured i.p. addresses? The router will
work better if you use its builtin DHCP server for the i.p. addresses
for the PCs and also reconfigure the PCs to use i.p. addresses that
are on the same subnet that the router uses but outside the range used
by the DHCP server.

Here is a typical example:
Router uses i.p. address 192.168.0.001
DHCP server in the router assigns i.p. addresses in the range
192.168.0.101 to 200 dynamically to connected PCs.
In this instance you would use i.p. addresses between 192,168.0.2 and
100 or between 192.168.0.201 and 255 for the printers, thereby keeping
them in the same subnet but avoiding possible conflicts with the DCHP
assigned addresses.
