Thank you, Marting.
I tried this too: set the client to "Optain IP address automatically"
and the result was the same. The only difference was that the IP address
assigned to my SLAVE was 192.168.0.16.
I will, eventually, reinstall both my systems, but i just *need* (it
became my personal "fight" with WINXP

) to know why it is not working.
