And if that doesn't work then kill the admin password and create a new
one...

One thing to note that's not mentioned in either post or the site... (You'll
get a warning though but I want to mention it now.) If you'd used EFS and
then alter the password for the account you'd be changing the password for
you're likely to run into some rather serious issues.
