I presume you meant the Stompsoft product, however, it sounds like
they have changed more than the name from looking at their web page.
"Important information for Backup MyPC users" pops up a
window with the statement that
[begin quote]
Important message about upgrading to PC BackUp.

PC BackUp cannot be used to restore backup sets created
with Backup MyPC or other backup applications.

To ensure the maximum level of protection for your data, we
recommend that you back up all your data using PC BackUp.
[end quote]
