Default Re: system slowed after upgrade

You're Commit Charge and Peak considerably exceed your RAM memory. You need
at least 256 mb and preferably more to avoid overdependence on the pagefile.
This is why your machine has slowed. Reading and writing to RAM memory is
much quicker than to and from virtual memory. You need to consult your
motherboard manual to determine how much RAM memory can be installed and
what type. Do you have the Manual?

Does this link make any sense?

Do you have a Netscape Browser? Is it on the machine or has it been removed?

For Event ID: 1517 download and install the User Profile Hive Cleanup
Service

Go to Start, Control Panel, Add / Remove Programs, Windows Components. Is
the box before Update Root Certificates checked or not checked?

No information.as yet. However, there is a question above about Netscape.

Event ID: 2001 and Event ID: 1002 ( PowerPoint )

Are all available Office 2003 updates installed?

Events ID: 7000,7026 and 876

Try Start, Control Panel, System, Hardware, Device Manager and look for a
Yellow Questionmark. If found double click the Device and check each tab for
a Device Error code. Just the number will do.

Hope this helps.
