Hi all,

I really do not understand how these things work. I was looking at my System
information, and there are a couple of confusing (for me) entries.

Total Physical Memory: 256.00MB
Available Physical Memory: 66.83MB

and

Total Virtual memory: 873.25MB
Available Virtual Memory: 356.58MB

What does this mean? The numbers for Total and Available seem miles apart.
Is my system a basket case, or are these numbers consistent with a reasonably
normally functioning PC?
Hope someone can help. The machine seems to be operating well in most
respects, so I am just wondering.
