Perhaps you would be better off finding software more suited to what you are
trying to do.

Although - almost all software - likely your OS included - is not going to
be utilized fully by you. How often do you use the Local Policy MMC?
Scheduled Tasks? Any of the Admistrator tools? You porobably don't use
your OS for more than 75% (if that much) of its features.
