I've asked the same question in the other tech news group, but it sounds
like XP just got dumber than 2k, and all users using virtually assigned
drive letters are powerless about it.

so far what I've got from asking is:

1.assign higher drive letters to begin with.
2.switch back to 2k.

if I get any other reply, i'll let you know
