Default Re: event 6161 error 259

Now if this isn't weird. I read a printing troubleshooting article on
the MS website. After trying everything else, at the bottom of the
article it recommends to do a clean boot. I did that, and it prints. I
enabled one at a time and rebooted after each the system.ini, win.ini,
load startup items, and then went to normal startup. After each change
it printed fine from notepad, and now under normal startup it prints
fine. What would have changed by going through the clean boot process
and renabling items one at a time?
