It's not firewalled, I get some communication:

unix->xp: syn
xp->unix: syc ack
unix->xp: print job
xp->unix: access denied

....hrmpf. Just wanted to provide the detailed Ethereal log, but now it
works. There are several restarts of XP in between, but I don't know of
anything I did to make it run suddenly.

Don't care, it's solved now.
