When I print an email or a web page my internet connection drops (dial-up).
If I turn on my printer after I'm connected my connection drops. My machine
(HP Pavilion 7955) thinks the line is still up. I'm using XP-Home SP2. This
happens with IE-6 or Firefox. I have changed printer drivers and removed and
reinstalled the printer and port (LPT1) many times. The printer is an HP
Deskjet 870Cxi. HP said to drop back to drivers for Deskjet 550C - Didn't
help. Any suggestions?
