Default RE: receiving faxes with computer off via multifunction?

Go to the store like BestBuy or Circuit City where you are planning
to purchase it and get them to show you the features. Also a brochure
of what it can or cannot do. You can check the Canon website but their
info is very limited, but you can call/contact their tech support for answers.
One thing to remember is, Fax can be used only with dial-up, not with
DSL or Cable. Some ISPs have filters you can install. Most stand-alone
fax machines can be used without the PC being turned on.
