Well if the AV1 file works fine I suggest trying to go in a different
direction as converting does sometimes cause these audio anomalies. How
about downloading a free trial DVD Authoring program and using that to
create your DVD? I have a list on of some of the more popular DVD Authoring
programs on my website in the "DVD Programs" section. Most of them offer
free trial downloads that are not crippled and will allow you to make your
DVD. I recommend Ulead Movie Factory as it is easy to use and feature rich.
Ulead DVD workshop2 is even better but the learning curve is higher and if
you decided to keep it the purchase price is MUCH higher. Both products,
along with most of the others listed on my site, do accept AVI (1) and WMV
files.
