I suspect your wife's computer is on a network
along with yours? That would explain the access
to your files.
Windows Picture and Fax Viewer can be disabled
but you will lose some features...thumbnail view...
for example.
Here's how.
Go to Start / Run and enter the following command:
(To Disable)
Enter...... regsvr32 /u shimgvw.dll
(yes, the space after the 2 and u is required)
(You should see a dialog box that says:
DllUnregisterServer in shimgvw.dll succeeded)
(To Enable)
Enter...... regsvr32 shimgvw.dll
(yes, the space after the 2 is required)
(You should see a dialog box that says:
DllRegisterServer in shimgvw.dll succeeded)
Also..if you search on Google for:
disable windows picture and fax viewer
You may some registry tweaks.
