The Fuji digital camera is a: FinePix F610.
Yes, i think the computer is well maintained. Whenever there is an update, i
download it, including SP2. A defrag was done a few days ago.
I also have a Maxtor100gb OneTouchII attached to it by USB. I did disconnect
this, but it made no difference.
Other details you may need are:-
Windows XP (prof) 5.1
AMD Athlon 1.92GHz
512MB RAM
