RE: Portable Media Device
Yves
Thank you for your thorough reply. But I am afraid I didn't make my problem
clear. Let me try again:
On my desktop there is an icon called Shortcut to Portable Media. I don't
know where it came from, I never noticed it befor, may be it was part of the
camera software I downloaded for my new Fuji camera. Anyway, when I connect
the camera or a card reader to a USB2 port the picture files go to that
Portable Media location and do not show under My Computer. This wouldn't be
too bad except when you try to open the file, a message says that the file
must be copied to another folder to open it.
I would rather the files be uploaded to My Computer. For one thing, I would
like to use Autoplay, which is not available at the Portable Media location.
My question is; how do I get the camera or card reader to open in My Computer?
