Hi John,
Thanks for the wealth of information. I did see some of this information in
previous posts but it's not the autoplay that's the problem. That works
fine. It's just that the camera is not recognized by my computer. I did
uninstall real player eventhough it was version 10.5 and rebooted but that
didn't help. I have the latest update for Nero so I don't think that's the
problem. Looks like the USB port needs to be repaired. There is no flag
beside any of the USB controllers (there are 5 listed) and I right clicked on
them all and they all "appear" to be working. How do I know which one to
uninstall and reinstall??? (There are also 5 USB Root Hubs listed.)

(I have another computer that I had hooked up my video cam to and it doesn't
recognize the digital camera either. Sony stuff is a pain in the butt!)
