Whenever you have ANY kind of shortcut on your desktop, you can right-click
on the icon and open a menu. Go to the bottom and left-click on Prpoerties.
In the properties window you will see a button labelled 'Find Target' Click
on that and it will take you to the application from where the shortcut
originated. That will help you decide what is going on...
