Justin, yes you should get a new hardware found wizard open up.
Have you checked out the cannot capture page, which runs through lots of
testing ideas, to work out if any of the components are in fact faulty? It
may well mean going on a beg, steal or borrow mission!!!
I've never used my dv cam as a web cam, so can't answer that one without
researching it and I'm afraid I'm busy working at the moment.
