Thanks so much for the information. I'm planning on buying a new monitor in
a few months and if that doesn't fix the problem, then I'll buy a new video
card, but hopefully a new monitor will do the trick. With the info you gave
me I'll be able to tell the clerk at Staples the type of video card I
presently have so he'll know what replacement card I'll need if it comes to
that.

My last question . . . is my video card part of the mother board or a plug
in type?
