Nick,
First, try a System Restore rollback. If not, export the following registry
key from another Windows XP system, and merge the contents to the subject
computer:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\Schedule
How to back up, edit, and restore the registry in Windows XP and Windows

Hi
I been working with a machine where I have been having trouble with
services.. in where I wanted to delete a standard windows service and
recreate hoping the registry will sort it self out.
so i used the sc delete schedule command to remove it ...
but i am having real trouble reinstall the service...
Can someone advise me on the correct syntax as I cant get it to work or tell
me another work aroudn.. which will allow me to achieve this.
Many Thanks
Nick
