My girlfriend has the same problem on her computer ... i've been trying to
fix it for the last 3 hours. Any loading or cpu usage at all will make her
sound sound distorted, choppy, and slowed down. As soon as the cpu is done
working it plays normal. I've ran spyware removals, anti-viruses, a2
scanner, removed unused programs, all while being on hold for 2 and half
hours with dell support. Computer is a Dell Dimension DIM3000 Intel(R)
Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.80GHz 2.79 GHz, 512 MB of RAM. By the way, I'm still on
hold with Dell. It doesn't matter what audio program it is. Any ideas?
