You don't really explain your listening scenario here.... ?
If you just quietly sit there and let WMP shuffle away, it should go from 1
to n in a random order. If you start clicking around and skipping to a
different song, as opposed to Back / Next, you're resetting the queue, I
believe.
I don't believe WMP uses any sort of weighted shuffle.
I listen to my music on WMP10 (home)/WMP11 (work) on random (20000+ My Music
playlist or my ~2500 song 4 or 5 Stars or higher (auto)playlist) and don't
run into this problem. The shuffle logic did undergo a significant beefing
up in WMP10, and I can't speak to WMP11. =)
