I have had a 60Gb iPOD video for 3 weeks now, and I am truly enjoying
it. I don't have to use iTunes if I don't want to. I use two other
programs to sync my photos, videos and music. iTunes is not very
supportive of it's iPOD video, because you have to enable the
"automatically update" music feature in preferences in order to update
your videos!
I would have no complaints about iTunes if it were not so ridiculous
for the video part. I also enjoying a couple of quick and easy
programs that enable me to covert my videos to .mp4 and H.264 format on
the iPOD. In H.264 format the picture is clear as a whistle. I plug
in thew RCA cables and I can watch all the shows, movies and videos I
have on my TV. I am the life of the party when I take my iPOD over to
my friends houses and show them all the video files I have collected.
I won't list all the software programs for iPOD video here, but if you
need some of these programs to get your iPOD in gear let me know.
