Please disengage your caps-lock key when posting. Its hard to read and
is considered shouting (rude).

Hold down the left shift key when you close the drive tray (hold until
the CD activity light goes out). Install software (CD or Floppy) on a
Windows OS by useing the "Add/Remove Programs" applet on the Windows XP
control panel. Most applications are installed by a "install.exe" or
"setup.exe" file on the first disk.

Many games aren't designed to automaticly run when the media is inserted
in the drive. If the files neccesary for that feature aren't included by
the publisher there really isn't much you can do other than hold the
left shift key when inserting the CD (hold until the CD activity light
goes out), then click on a shortcut to start the application.
