Hi cabbie,

Here's a couple of things to consider:

1. To see if the CD is defective, insert it and browse it's contents in My Computer

If the CD appears to be alright, we'll eliminate two other possibilities as follows ..

2. Startup your system in SAFE MODE by pressing F8 repeatedly
while your system is booting up after you've shut down your system

3. Log in with an account you've created as a "Computer Administrator"
account that you'll use to play the game, but don't use a Limited account.
