Thanks for the reply. It's the explorer file association box, I verified file
associations within WMP as you suggested before:
"Choose the program you want to use to open this file" It lists WMP and
iTunes as recommended programs, I've checked off "Always use the selected
program to open this kind of file" but it never remembers. WMP wil only open
these file types w/o a prompt if they're listed in the library and will
always prompt for others??
