Default Re: Screen saver won't activate while using WMP 10

I apologize... need to carify ... my operating system is WinXP Pro SP2.
While listening to music using WMP, my screen saver will not function.

I went to Control Panel, Display, then set up the marquee screen saver,
password protect on resume checked, one minute time delay set, click Apply,
click OK.

After doing this nothing ever changed. The screen saver never activated.
