| XP Prof SP2.
|
| Had a crash - reformated and clean install of everything.
|
| Monitor (ImageQuest 770+) was recognised as Plug & Play. I have original
| CD; it has *.inf file but no install utility. Trouble is, I can't get it
to
| change the monitor type to allow the proper driver to be installed.
|
| Display Settings | Advanced | Monitor show P'n'P monitor, but no option to
| change it. Control Panel | Add New Hardware just finds the P'n'P monitor,
| "Have Disk" and point to original CD just displays "not driver for this
| device" message. List all Devices does NOT have "Monitor" in the list,
nor
| does it have the manufacturer (Hyundai/ImageQuest) listed.
|
| Win98's Add Hardware was much friendlier!!!
|
| Any ideas? How can I get it to look at the monitor *.inf file?
|
| TIA
|
| Pedro

Right click the inf and choose install.
