I recently purchased a wireless mouse (Logitech Wireless).

I leave my machine on 24/7 but it goes on standby after 20 minutes of
non-usage (or I place it on stamdby manually) Everything works great but I
seem to be changeing the mouse batteries every 7-8 days. I use rechargeable
Duracell NiMH batteries so I am not buying batteries all the time but is a
bit of a pain having to change the batterries just when I am in the middle
of something.

Is this normal battery usage?

Also is a laser mouse better than the rgular wireless mouse.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
