Hi LaciJane,

There are 2 possible reasons.

1. Check that you are not using a User Stylesheet - Tools>Internet Options -
General tab - Accessibility - Format documents using my style sheet

2. The web pages you are viewing have their background set to an image (this
could be a one pixel white)
