Default Re: Can I download and install Outlook Express 6 only?

Thanks Steve,

I had begun to realise that that is the case.

......... Long story of little general interst ........

This friend of mine is stationed in Africa for 4
months, and has a problem with not being able to
send mail with his OE. Retrieve is fine.

I set up his laptop a year ago to work with his ISP
from home. That ISP blocks use of their SMTP
server unless you connect through them.

He called me the other day, long distance, asking
that I figure something out and mail hím a solution.
I set up a free account for myself and could use
their SMTP with my mail client, Fortes Agent.
That free site had good instructions for how to set
up OE, but not my version.
I would want to test it myself before mailing out
directions.
