Thanks Tom. It sounds like I need to configure my ISP account, if possible,
to make it work. That explains things. Maybe I'll try it. Maybe not.
So as I understand it the E-mail scanner is not necessary in scanning for
viruses? If that's the case I'll just shut it down. I thought it worked like
a firewall to catch infected files before the were downloaded into OE.
