Default Re: Spell Check Limited on Compose

I know you are using OE with XP/SP2 from your message header: Microsoft
Outlook Express 6.00.2900.2670

But I am trying to find out what Spell Checker you are using.

OE 6 does not come with its own spell check. You need Word or an MS Office
program. The spell checker in the basic Works 4 through 6 will work with OE.
Older and newer versions do not. If you have Works Suite, that includes MS
Word and a spell checker that does work with OE.

If you are using a spell check from one of these programs, then see:

Spell Checking does not work in OE:
http://mvps.org/PracticallyNerded/OE...ll%20check.htm

Or:
http://www.michaelstevenstech.com/spellcheck.htm

And: An error occurred while the spelling was being checked or: Spell Check
was halted:
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=224176

If none of the above is applicable, then try a new identity. You would be
surprised how many problems are fixed daily in this newsgroup doing this.
You can easily delete it if it is not the fix.
