That was a misprint by the original author...it should have been "regedit"
(no quotes)

If you are totally uninformed about the registry and using regedit, be sure
and export *all* keys that you are 'working on'. In the regedit window under
File, you will see export...highlight the key in the left pane of the
editior and then File > export > and give it somewhere to go, such as "My
Documents" or Desktop or someplace you can find it. It will be exported as a
reg file and you can double click it and it will return the registry back to
the way it was before you edited it, just in case.
