At a friends house and recommended he download the latest Windows updates on
his desktop; there were 33 of them. After installing them, the desktop can
no longer access the internet. The wireless connection is enabled with
excellent signal strength, but IE cannot reach the wireless modem (I see a
dnserror msg on the bottom grey area of the IE screen). My laptop continues
to reach the same wireless modem and the internet just fine. Have rebooted
everything, still no luck. Trying to back-out Windows updates using System
Restore, but after going through the restore process, it says cannot restore
from that checkpoint; tried restoring from about 7 different days checkpoint
and can't restore from any of them. Help!
