Hello to all,
I am having a problem with the shield that appears on the taskbar for auto
updates.On 11/30/05 it appeared and tried to install an update I had
previously installed. it cancelled itself at 33%. This was the first time
that it had initialized the download & install without notifying me first,
which is how I have it set. Now every time I go online it appears on the
taskbar and hangs anywhere from 3-10% no matter how long I'm online. My
question is can I go to the website and download & install these updates even
though the shield is present? And is there anyway to fix this or is microsoft
having a problem with there program?
